XIV. MEMORIALA DR. MILANA VIDMARJA 2001
1.
V spomin na
velemojstra Dr. ing. Milana Vidmarja prireja Šahovska zveza Slovenije XIV. mednarodni velemojstrski šahovski
turnir od 3. do 11. julija 2001 v
Portorožu.
2.
Otvoritev
turnirja bo 3. julija 2001 ob 15.00 uri v igralni dvorani.
Sprejem udeležencev
turnirja in žrebanje bo 2. julija 2001 ob 20.00 uri v prostorih Hotela »Bernardin«
v Portorožu.

Igralni
dnevi so vsak dan od 15.00 ure dalje do konca partije.
Tempo igre je 40
potez v 100 minutah, 20 potez v naslednjih 50 minutah in 10 minut do konca
igre, z dodatkom po 30 sekund po vsaki potezi od prve poteze dalje.
5.
Sodnik turnirja je mednarodni sodnik Janko Bohak.
Odločitev sodnika
je dokončna. Pisni ugovor zoper sodniško odločitev je možno vložiti eno uro po
končani partiji na turnirski odbor. Turnirski odbor mora sprejeti svojo odločitev
pred začetkom naslednjega kola, vendar najpozneje v 24 urah po vložitvi
ugovora. Odločitev turnirskega odbora je dokončna.
Turnirski odbor
sestavljajo trije člani in dva namestnika in sicer : Boris Kutin - predsednik
ECU, kot predsednik, Aleš Drinovec - mednarodni sodnik, kot predstavnik
organizacijskega odbora in Aleksandr Beliavsky - velemojster. Neposredno
prizadeti igralec ne sodeluje pri delu turnirskega odbora ter ga v tem primeru
zamenja namestnik. Namestnika sta Boris Gelfand - velemojster in Zdenko Kožul -
velemojster.
6.
Partije
načeloma ni možno preložiti, izjeme odobrava glavni sodnik. V primeru bolezni
je dokončno mnenje turnirskega zdravnika - dežurnega zdravnika Zdravstvenega
doma Piran.
7.
V primeru delitve
mest se nagrade delijo.
8.
Povprečni
rating turnirja je 2581 tako, da je turnir XIV. kategorije po klasifikaciji
Fide.
Za dosego
velemojstrske norme je potrebno doseči
pet (5) točk.
Za vse kar ni
predvideno s tem pravilnikom se uporabljajo Pravila šaha FIDE sprejeta na kongresu
Fide v Istanbulu (veljavna od 1.7.2001) in smiselno drugi pravilniki FIDE.

Tournament regulations
XIV. DR. VIDMAR MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT 2001
1.
The Chess Federation of Slovenia organizes the 14th
International grandmaster chess tournament in honour of grandmaster Dr. Ing.
Milan Vidmar from July 3rd to 11th ,
2001 in Portorož.
2.
The opening ceremony will be held on July 3rd, 2001 at
3.00 p.m. in playing hole.
Reception of the participants and drawing of lots will
take place on July 2nd, 2001 at 8.00 p.m. in Hotel "Bernardin" Portorož.

The rounds will be played each day from 3.00 p.m. to the end.
Time of play is 40 moves in 100 minutes, 20 moves for
the following 50 minutes and 10 minutes to the end of the game. The player will
additionaly receive 30 seconds after each move.
5.
The Arbiter of the Tournament is Janko Bohak,
International Arbiter.
The decisions of the Arbiter are final. A written
appeal is possible one hour after each game to the Appeals Committee. The
Appeals Committee shall reach its decision before next round, not later than 24
hours after the appeal has been made and this decision is final.
The Appeals Committee is composed of three
participants and two deputies: Mr. Boris Kutin, ECU President - as chairman ,
Mr. Aleš Drinovec, International Arbiter - named by the Organizing Committee of
the Tournament and GM Aleksandr
Beliavsky.
The involved player shall not be serve on the
Committee, in such case he shall be replaced by a deputy. Deputies are GM Boris
Gelfand and GM Zdenko Kožul.
6.
Game cannot be postponed, except if Chief Arbiter decides otherwise. In
case of illness, the final decision is given by the Tournament Doctor - the
Doctor on duty at the Medical Centre Piran.
7.
The prizes are: 6.000, 5.000, 4.000, 3.000 and 2.000
DEM
In case of equal results are achieved the prise money
shall be shared.
8.
The everage rating of the Tournament is 2581, category XIII. FIDE. Five
(5) points have to be achieved for Grandmaster norm.
In all cases not provided by these regulations the
official FIDE Laws of Chees admited at the FIDE Congress in Istambul (vaild
from July 1st 2001) or other FIDE Rules will be adequately applied.
9.
All participants must be acquainted with regulations
before the beginning of the Tournament. By signing regulations, the
participants confirm that they agree. The Tournament Regulations have to be
signed also by the Arbiter and the members of the Appeals Committee.
